Gui was born into a family deeply rooted in the hospitality industry, and was exposed to the world of hotels and restaurants from a young age, as both his parents pursued careers in this field. Following in their footsteps, Gui pursued a bachelor's degree in Hotel Management and further honed his skills by completing a gastronomy course at Le Cordon Bleu Peru. Throughout his career, Gui has had the opportunity to work alongside renowned figures in various countries, gaining valuable experience and knowledge along the way. Currently, Gui is successfully managing his second business in Amsterdam, showcasing his expertise and passion for the hospitality industry.

From Brazil and South Africa we bring you tastes rooted in our cultures with flavours from all around the world with a hint of Amsterdam Gezelligheid. With such a variety of influence our concept is bringing great tasting dishes and cocktails to Amsterdam. Using only the freshest of ingredients from local suppliers. The bar and kitchen will collaborate to bring you pairings like you've never tried before.

Introducing to you 'The Experience'

Now you can get the all round culinary experience at CatuaBar offering a 4 or 6 course set menu with the option of cocktail pairings. 

Our summer dishes are light, fresh and delicious and the cocktails will be served in tasting portions. Its all about the ingredients and not to try get your sloshed haha

 

Set menus will be offered on Friday's and Saturday's and a la carte options available on Thursday's and Sunday's.
